Golf for Dummies by Gary McCord

Golf for Dummies by Gary McCord is different than any other golfbook you have ever had.

The best about this book is that it reads like any other book with lots of funny stories. There is one story that Gary was somewhere in a bunker, wich was so deep that halfway he passed some Himalayan sherpas.

Obviously there are also a lot of tips in this book that starters really would appreciate. He tells about the things you realy should have when you start and which thing not to buy when you start like clothing, clubs bags etc. The instructions Gary gives in this book are really easy to follow with lots of pictures.

I loved reading this book and did so more than once. I can really recommend to every body who plays golf or just want to read a bit more about this great game. High handicapers will surely like the funny stories about the situations Gary got in sometimes.

Gary McCord never won a major tournament as a golf professional but is a well know person in the world of golf.
Currently he works as an commentator for CBS.
